Hair extensions are methods of lengthening the hair by adding some additional human or synthetic hair.
Natural human hair can be permed, dyed, and flat ironed whereas synthetic hair cannot.
The methods include tape in extensions, tape-in or clip on extensions, fusion method, weaving method etc.
Tape-in Hair Extensions - wefts of hair are attached to small sections of your natural hair using double-sided tape; recommended for most of the hair types, except very oily hair or the hair shorter than 15 cm.
Fusion Hair Extensions or Keratin / Protein micro bonded - individual keratin-tipped strands are fused to your natural hair using heat to melt the glue. The glue sets as it cools down and the strand is secured in this manner.
Weave (or Sew-in) Hair Extensions - your natural hair is braided in rows from ear to ear and wefts of hair are woven (with thread) onto the braids. Not recommended for Caucasian hair as the plaited rows made to attach the weft are often damaging the finer hair.
